Well DAXGuy, over at http://daxguy.blogspot.com did a most wonderful job of really going through a lot of details for all the different possible way reports can be created, used, and cross many different aspects of the reporting model in Dynamics AX.

He even went into the PerformancePoint Server side. Granted this is not a very technical deep review of each, but a wonderful overall review of near every possible way to create a report for / with Dynamics AX!
